Rechargeable Batteries

Enecell - Initial thoughts - high rating(1800mAh) for AAA - if accurate these will be quite impressive batteries; however a rating that high is initially suspicious.

Testing is showing around 300mA; because this is only ~16% of the rating my opinion is thumbs down. On the other hand, it is about 1/3rd of a typical AAA cell - so they may have some use for low drain devices considering the excellent price point. I would be more favorable to them with accurate(aka honest) ratings.

One additional note- out of the 4 samples, one of them is apparently a defect; as it is testing at only 70mA/h. Bad luck or common problem, I have no way to know.

Additional info: Since writing this review, I was contacted by the seller in reference to modifying the feedback I left. I responded that I would if they wished to send me product samples that were at least close to specifications. To my surprise, they did send me 4 more cells for testing. Full test results are in the chart below; unfortunately they were actually a bit worse than the originals. Overall, I found the seller quite pleasant to work with; but I have to stand by my opinion on the batteries.
